Excellent HVAC Service Since 1959

Barker Air Conditioning and Heating was founded in 1959 by Judd Barker. The business was sold to John A. Colontrelle in 1980. At the time, it was a three-person business. As the business grew because of excellent customer service, an office opened in Sebastian in 1996 to better serve the residents of northern Indian River County.

With a team of more than 50 employees, Barker Air Conditioning and Heating built a brand new facility in 2008 at 1936 Commerce Avenue. The office includes a full sheet metal shop, showroom and warehouse. In 2013, John A. Colontrelle retired and sold the business to his sons John W. and Danny, ensuring that Barker Air Conditioning and Heating would continue its history of excellent HVAC service under the Colontrelle name.

Today, Barker Air Conditioning and Heating has grown to 65 employees, with 28 of them having been with us for a decade or more. We remain committed to providing the best quality systems and services possible in an expedient manner.
